Return
to
Hamlet,
Act 3, Scene 2, lines 291-292
Hamlet is calling out to the company of actors whose performance has just been interrupted. The company of actors would include, as Shakespeare's did, musicians. At line 344, some of them come in and give Hamlet a recorder.

The recorder is a woodwind musical instrument.
