in little: in miniature. A miniature portrait could be put in a locket and carried about to show utter devotion.  'Sblood: by his [Christ's] blood. This was a common oath. philosophy: The word "philosophy" covered a lot more territory in Shakespeare's time than it does now; what we call "science," would have been called "natural philosophy."
